KUALA LUMPUR, 11 October 2025 — Get ready, animation fans and moviegoers alike! Papa Zola The Movie will officially hit theatres nationwide on 11 December 2025, as announced by MONSTA CEO Nizam Abd Razak during the annual MONSTACON 2025 event. To kick off the countdown, the official trailer will premiere on the MONSTA YouTube channel this 8 November at 8 PM.
Known for its ever-expanding Power Sphera Universe, MONSTA, together with Astro Shaw and FINAS, takes a bold new step beyond beloved heroes like BoBoiBoy and Mechamato to spotlight Papa Zola as the studio’s first adult lead by bringing a mix of laughter, action, and emotional depth to the big screen.
“Our audience grew up alongside BoBoiBoy and Papa Zola. Now that many of them are young adults and parents, this story goes beyond comedy. It’s about love, sacrifice, and learning how to protect the things that matter most,” said Nizam Abd Razak, CEO of MONSTA.
To mark the occasion, MONSTA will launch a line of exclusive Papa Zola merchandise made in collaboration with several well-known household brands, a limited-edition collection fans won’t want to miss.
Adding to the excitement, the Papa Zola The Movie Run Campaign — “Kebena-RUN” will take place during KL Car Free Day on 7 December 2025, inviting families to join a fun, energetic morning ahead of the movie’s release.
